Get Over It: Reading Grows Your Business

There are so articles, book, and even blogs that have helped me to grow my business. At the beginning stages the things that I needed to know or didn’t understand I would normally start by googling it. From there I would learn about interesting people that were talking about what I needed to know or I may of learned about their blog, website, and services that I never knew before hand. I’ve spent hours reading interview articles where the person that was being interviewed may of dropped a few hints or gems that I needed. I’ve read many books in which I will list that I’ve learned from. With all this being said you can learn from Youtube videos or Periscopes but you are missing out if you aren’t picking up a book and reading.

As an entrepreneur you need (it’s mandatory) to read personal development books. Your mental right now may make you 5 figures but what happens when you want to get to 6 figures. You may be making 6 figures but that same mentally may keep you at 6 figures but now you’re trying to get to the million club. So here are a few books I’ve read that will help with personally development. What to Say when you talk to your self by Shad Helmstetter, Ph.D, Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill, Secrets of a Millionaire Mind by T. Harv Eker, Richest Man of Babylon by George S. Clason, and You are a Badass: How to Stop Doubting Your Greatness and Start Living an Awesome Life by Jen Sincero.

A great book about renewed thinking and strategy is: Who Moved my cheese? by Spencer Johnson, M.D.

And a book to help with your website: Million Dollar Websites: Build a Better Website Using Best Practices of the Web Elite in E-Business, Design, SEO, Usability, Social, Mobile and Conversion by Rebecca Murtagh.
